Summary/Objective

Demonstrating ability to learn fast while working with technical and non-technical customer teams and other stakeholders to generate clear, concise product requirements is part of the role

We are looking for a US based team player with solid root-cause-analysis skills and a problem-solving orientation; ability to think strategically.

Essential Functions 

• Expertise in machine learning (particularly explainable machine learning (e.g., causal networks) deep learning, natural language processing, and data mining algorithms. Must have knowledge/experience in all of the following: relational databases, linear and logistic regression, support vector machines, tree methods, model selection, common clustering algorithms, common optimization algorithms, deep learning frameworks and methods for natural language processing and computer vision.
• Experience with at least one data science programming language (spark, python, R), and at least one query language
• Expected to manage own contributions as source code, therefore a working knowledge of GIT and agile practices are required.
• Requires willingness to learn additional tools (e.g., the Maana Q platform ) and subject matter domain to be successful

Required Education & Experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Cognitive Science, Computational Linguistics, Operations Research, or related field.
• Master’s degree is required, and PhD degree is preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant experience with a proven track record of leveraging analytics and large amounts of data to drive significant business impact.
